INTEGRITY. COMPASSION. RESPECT.

Jewish Family Service of Atlantic County (JFS) assists families, children, adults, and seniors of Atlantic and Cape May counties to live their best and most productive lives. We help people with food, housing, and job-related insecurities. We are inclusive and provide counseling, lifelines, and essential services to anyone in need. Our aim now is the same as it was when the agency was founded nearly a century ago:  to help those who need help.

Lynne, Beverly, Shirley, and Frani joined nearly 30 people at the Tu B’Shevat Community Seder Lunch at Shirat Hayam Synagogue today. Participants celebrated the Jewish New Year of the Trees through an interactive Seder featuring symbolic foods and rituals connecting Jewish tradition to the natural world, honoring the earth, and strengthening the community. The event was presented by the Board of Jewish Education, with support from both JFS and the Jewish Federation of Atlantic & Cape May Counties.
