Serving Atlantic and Cape May Counties

“For me, it’s wonderful. I can’t see well so my care coordinator is my eyes. I couldn’t go anywhere without her.”
  – Isabel Mayer, Village Member

“Thank you so much for taking such great care of my mother. I have peace of mind knowing you are there and one phone call away. Thanks for taking her to the doctor’s last week. You are a life saver!”
 – Daughter of Village Member

The Lynn Kramer Village by the Shore

The Lynn Kramer Village by the Shore (Village) is here to support independence and make life easier for adults over 50. The Village offers a unique concierge-style approach by providing professional services as well as volunteer supports and socialization. This model enables members to enjoy life in their own homes through the concept of neighbors helping neighbors. While the Village is not a physical place, it is a network, allowing individuals to get the most from their community at any stage of life.

The Village is named in memory of community philanthropist, Lynn Kramer, whose dedication to helping others will continue to make an impact for years to come. The Lynn and Charles Kramer Family Fund along with private, foundation, grants and fundraising enables JFS to provide Village services regardless of income.

The Village provides a wide range of services needed to live healthy, productive, and independent lives. Currently, nearly 200 members rely on JFS for meal and grocery delivery, transportation, social and educational activities, professional care coordination, mental health counseling, and friendly check-ins.
