37th Annual JFS House Tour Raises $122,000 – Proceeds Benefit The Lynn Kramer Village by the Shore

More than 600 people enjoyed an afternoon of strolling through seven breathtaking homes in Longport and Margate during the Jewish Family Service House Tour on August 3rd. The event, presented by Surroundings Interiors, raised $122,000 to benefit The Lynn Kramer Village by the Shore, a program which provides essential services including care coordination, transportation, grocery shopping, meal delivery, and social events for adults (50+). The House Tour, which started in the ‘80s, has showcased nearly 225 spectacular residences and welcomed thousands of guests.

“Each year, the House Tour surpasses our expectations thanks to the extraordinary generosity of homeowners who open their homes to hundreds of attendees as well as the businesses, sponsors, volunteers, and staff whose dedication makes this event so memorable,” said Andrea Steinberg, Chief Executive Officer of Jewish Family Service of Atlantic & Cape May Counties. “The funds raised will support programs and services for more than 200 older adults throughout our region.”

A special thanks to House Tour Chairperson Michele Kramer Sloane and the committee – Barbara Cohen, Jodi Finkelson-Reece, Beth Fox, Pam Frank, Martha Karasick, Elaine Levy, Hope Morgan, Alfi Naim, Eileen Perice, Jane Pressman, Debbie Ravitz, David Schwartz, Pam Sinderbrand, and Lesley Weinberg – who organized the event. In addition, nearly 140 volunteers dedicated their day to make the fundraiser successful.

More than 135 VIPs took the tour to the next level with door-to-door transportation and gift bags. House Tour VIP sponsors included Accent Sinus Center, Atlantic City Electric, Colmar Kitchen Studio, Cooper Levenson, Hard Rock Atlantic City, and Kramer Beverage. As part of the fundraiser, Benjamin F. Edwards, Oasis Property Group, and Seashore Wealth Investment served as Lunch sponsors where attendees enjoyed a delicious selection offered by Essl’s Dugout and TacocaT. In addition, a selection of complimentary ice cream sandwiches and frozen banana treat were sponsored by California Closets, Peace Pie, and The Original Banana Company. Also, Canada Dry Atlantic City – A Honickman Company served as the Hydration Sponsor.

Blending extraordinary artwork, distinctive design features, and professionally curated interiors, each home offered a unique expression of style and character including a Frank Sinatra portrait created entirely from dice, grass cloth wallcoverings, custom dressing rooms, and a private office concealed behind a custom bookshelf.

House sponsors included Deborah Foundation, Marketplace Realty, OceanFirst, OSK Design Partners, and Seaboard Building & Restoration. Lucky raffle ticketholders won fabulous prizes including a Hard Rock Guitar Basket, Dine Around Town, and Margate Bridge Downbeach Express Card. Guests also bid on over 90 auction items including resort stays, dining and dessert certificates, sporting and theater tickets, distinctive health & wellness experiences, designer clothing and handbags, and jewelry.

The House Tour committee is already searching for homes for next year’s tour, scheduled to take place August 2, 2027. For more information, contact Julia Tracy at jtracy@jfsatlantic.org. For more information on JFS programs and services, visit www.jfsatlantic.org.
