The 11th Annual Jewish Family Service Card Party, presented by the Gurwicz Family, will take place Thursday, August 21 at Harbor Pines Golf Club. Attendees may choose to play Mahjong, Canasta or Bridge. Tickets are $136 which includes game play, lunch buffet, and 10 Auction Basket tickets for a chance to win gift cards, hotel stays, wine and more. Or, guests may purchase a $100 ticket which includes game play and the lunch buffet.
“As one of JFS’ most popular fundraisers, the Card Party, named in honor of the late Bonnie Gurwicz, offers guests the opportunity to gather for a day of fun while supporting our agency,” said Andrea Steinberg, Chief Executive Officer.
Participants are encouraged to organize their own table with family and friends. All others will be randomly assigned to a table. Players must bring their own cards and/or game set. Proceeds benefit The Lynn Kramer Village by the Shore, a membership program for adults age 50+. The program provides intergenerational events, care coordination, transportation, grocery shopping and delivery, Kosher meal deliveries and more.
