Jewish Family Service of Atlantic County (JFS) assists families, children, adults, and seniors of Atlantic and Cape May counties to live their best and most productive lives. We help people with food, housing, and job-related insecurities. We are inclusive and provide counseling, lifelines, and essential services to anyone in need. Our aim now is the same as it was when the agency was founded nearly a century ago: to help those who need help.

Due to the incoming high tide and weather conditions, JFS Margate and Atlantic City offices will close at 12:00 PM today. Case management services may continue offshore when conditions allow. Outpatient counseling appointments for both Atlantic City and Margate locations will be held via telehealth. The Cape May Courthouse office will remain open as scheduled. Any questions, call 609-822-1108.

This morning, JFS staff attended the 9/11 Ceremony in Margate to honor the lives lost, the heroes who served, and the resilience of our nation. We stand together in reflection and remembrance on this day of unity and strength.

This past Saturday, Team JFS proudly joined the Suicide Prevention Walk outside Hard Rock. Together with our community, we walked to honor lives lost, support survivors, and raise awareness about the importance of mental health.
At JFS, we remain committed to providing hope, resources, and support to anyone struggling.
