NFI & The Brown Family Fore Charity Golf Tournament Benefits JFS & JCC -- JFS Won the Trophy

The NFI & The Brown Family Fore Charity Golf Tournament, benefitting Jewish Family Service of Atlantic & Cape May Counties (JFS) and the Milton & Betty Katz Jewish Community Center (JCC), raised over $135,000 to support both agencies. With more than 170 golfers participating in morning and afternoon play at Harbor Pines Golf Club, Team JFS won the coveted trophy.

JFS to Host Annual Meeting at Atlantic City Country Club on June 20

On Tuesday, June 20 from 6pm to 8pm at the Atlantic City Country Club, Jewish Family Service will host its Annual Meeting. The program will feature Board Installations, Donor Recognition, and Awards. Guests will also enjoy some lite fare.

Pamela's Health & Harmony Pledges Multi-Year Donor Support to JFS

Pamela Shuman, owner of Pamela’s Health & Harmony, wanted to give back to her community to make a difference. She started by donating a gift certificate to be used for an event prize or auction item, then began donating products from the store to the agency’s pantry. Most recently, she made a five-year pledge to JFS. As an agency Chai donor, the funds will assure residents and clients in the community continue to receive services and programs that benefit their individual needs.

Bianca Migliacci Named Director of Compliance for JFS

Bianca Migliacci has been appointed to the position of Director of Compliance for JFS. In this role, Bianca is responsible for working cohesively with agency departments to ensure compliance on relevant laws, regulations, licensing and trainings. The professional care of clients is of the utmost importance and she will assure JFS staff continue to provide high-quality service. In addition, Bianca will develop and implement processes that align with JFS’ mission-driven and core values.

The Law Offices of Melissa Rosenblum Increases Support to JFS

As an ardent Criminal Defense Attorney and JFS Board Vice President, Melissa Rosenblum is dedicated to her career and the community. Melissa serves as JFS’ Chair of the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion committee, which works in conjunction with the agency’s Anti-Racism Committee. She embodies JFS’ mission and core values and through her generous multi-year agency pledge, JFS will continue to be able to offer programs and services needed by people in the region. As a JFS Leader Donor, Melissa increased her financial support to $5,000 annually for the next two years. The funds will benefit the Food Pantry, Counseling, Older Adult Programs, Supportive Housing, Vocational Services, and more.

JFS Joins the Stigma Free Atlantic Collaborative Countywide Program

JFS is proud to join the Stigma Free Atlantic Collaborative countywide program which aims to raise awareness and reduce negative beliefs associated with mental health and substance use disorders. The initiative hopes to create a culture where people feel supported by their community and seek treatment for disorders without fear of judgement.
