Throwback Thursday: The Lost Shuls of the Pine Barrens

Join the Jewish Federation of Atlantic & Cape May Counties Executive Director Rachel Waldman, Board of Jewish Education Executive Director Josh Cutler, and Village Community Specialist Tina Serota as they host a captivating journey into the forgotten Jewish past of South Jersey’s most unexpected regions.  This program will focus on uncovering stories of small, often hidden synagogues and Jewish communities that once dotted the Pine Barrens.  Discover how faith, memory, and identity were preserved in wooden shuls, nestled among cranberry bogs and pine trees and why their stories continue to matter today.  Attend in-person at Beth El Synagogue, 500 N. Jerome Avenue, Margate.
