The Rothenberg Center for Family Life
The Rothenberg Center for Family Life at Jewish Family Service is a parenting and family life education and resource center designed to help families meet the ordinary and sometimes extraordinary challenges they face. Whether it’s an effective parenting program, a skills development course for teachers, or a teen program on “making good relationship choices”, Rothenberg offers a supportive environment in which participants can meet others with similar interests and participate in group discussions. For more individualized support, we offer personal coaching where participants can sort out a specific issue or problem, get clarification or discover a new insight. Some topics offered include:

- Parenting the Teenage Brain
- Healthy Relationships: Adolescents Making Good Choices
Economic Recovery Center (ERC)
In response to the economic downturn, the Rothenberg Center has established the Economic Response Center, a confidential and dignified resource center designed to help individuals gain financial literacy and achieve economic self-sufficiency. Programs in areas such as parenting, recession survival skills, recovery workshops and Jewish life resources. Some topics offered include:

When group support or personal coaching is not sufficient, JFS offers counseling to families and children.
