Holocaust Survivors

This program serves Holocaust survivors and individuals who resided in occupied countries during the Holocaust. With support from The Claims Conference on Jewish Material Claims Against Germany and through extensive fundraising, JFS subsidizes and arranges homecare, Kosher home-delivered meals and social services.

Other Survivor activities & services:

  • Monthly luncheons (sponsored by individuals)
  • Guest speakers
  • Intergenerational events
  • Trips (underwritten by the Ruth & David Zinman Fund)

Quality care and assistance for you or your loved one is a phone call away. There are fees associated with some of these programs, which may be covered by long-term care insurance. Subsidies are available in cases of financial hardship.

Please check the calendar to see the specific dates of our programs. For more detailed information about Holocaust Survivor programs at JFS contact us by phone at (609) 822-1108 or via e-mail.

Social Services for Jewish Nazi victims have been supported by a grant from the Conference on Jewish Material Claims Against Germany. A generous grant from the Conference on Jewish Material Claims Against Germany and the State of New Jersey, allows New Jersey's network of Jewish Family Service agencies to provide support through funding from the German government and the Holocaust Survivor In-home Services Program, along with Cafe Europa social gatherings.
