More than 600 attendees enjoyed an afternoon of strolling through seven breathtaking homes in Margate and Ventnor during the 34th Annual Jewish Family Service House Tour. The event, sponsored by Surroundings Interiors, raised $90,000 to benefit The Lynn Kramer Village by the Shore at JFS program which provides essential transportation, care coordination, meal delivery and socialization for adults (50+).

“As one of the agency’s most popular fundraisers, JFS is grateful for the hundreds of attendees as well as the businesses, sponsors, volunteers, and staff who made this event so successful. Attendees enjoyed an exclusive look inside Downbeach homes which featured state-of-the-art kitchens, ornate fixtures and hardware, beautiful décor, breathtaking views and more. We are thankful to the homeowners who graciously opened the doors to their residences,” said Andrea Steinberg, JFS Chief Executive Officer.

A special thanks to the House Tour committee – Barbara Cohen, Jodi Finkelson-Reece, Kim Forte, Beth Fox, Rene Kane, Martha Karasick, Audrey Panitch Levin, Hope Morgan, Alfi Naim, Hanna Newcomer, Linda Novelli, Eileen Perice, Sarah Rosenthal, David Schwartz, Taylor Shives, Beth Shor, Pam Sinderbrand and Lesley Weinberg – who organized the successful event, ensuring guests and homeowners alike had a memorable experience. In addition, over 120 volunteers dedicated their day to help make the fundraising event a success.

Nearly 115 VIPs took the tour to the next level with door-to-door transportation, priority entry into the homes, and gift bags. House Tour VIP sponsors included The Novelli Team, TriCity Kitchens, and Weinstein Supply. As part of the fundraiser, Jewish Federation of Southern New Jersey, Oasis Property Group, and Jewish by the Shore: Jewish Federation and Jewish Foundation of Atlantic & Cape May Counties served as Lunch sponsors and attendees enjoyed a delicious selection of food offered by Essl’s Dugout and TacocaT food trucks. In addition, a complimentary Peace Pie ice cream sandwich dessert was sponsored by Avalon Flooring, Fountain View at Logan Square, L&R Installations, Inc., and Peace Pie.

House sponsors included Accent Aesthetics and Surroundings Interiors. Trade sponsors were Atlas Interiors, Berman Vass Interior Design, Clay’s Climate Control, Coast Tile & Marble Supply, Colmar Hardware, EuroLine Design, Higbee Builders, J&J Construction, TJC Interiors, and Victory Farms. Also, Specialty sponsors were Audi Fort Washington and Porsche Main Line. In addition, attendees enjoyed shopping and picked up information and goodies from nearly 20 vendors – Aneu Catering, California Closets, Fox Rehabilitation, Greentree Mortgage, Macy’s, and Right at Home – at the lunch area. Also, each home featured on-site sponsors so attendees were able to interact with kitchen designers, architects, and builders.

Lucky ticketholders won fabulous prizes including a Lagos Ring compliments of Roberts Fine Jewelers, Resorts Casino Hotel Overnight Stay with Dining Certificate, Seven-Day Golf Cart Rental provided by Shore Rides, and $200 Downbeach Express gift card. Raffle winners also bid on more than 60 items including dining certificates, sporting tickets, distinctive health & wellness products, and designer handbags. In addition, Resorts Casino Hotel and Wawa graciously donated bottled water.
