Associate Director of Electronic Health Record (Cerner)

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Associate Director of Electronic Health Records (EHR), specializing in Cerner systems, to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all Cerner-related projects, implementations, reporting, and ticketing issues within our organization. As the project manager for Cerner initiatives, this individual will provide leadership and direction to ensure the successful execution of projects, adherence to timelines, and achievement of organizational objectives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Healthcare Administration, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in project management, with a focus on electronic health records systems, specifically Cerner.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects and leading teams to achieve project milestones and deliverables.
  • Strong technical acumen and proficiency with Cerner systems, including experience with implementation, configuration, and customization.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Knowledge of healthcare industry regulations and standards, such as HIPAA, HITECH, and Meaningful Use.
  • Project management certification (e.g., PMP) is a plus
