Benefits Leave Specialist

Description/Qualifications:

Coordinate all leaves and paperwork required for leaves including Family Medical Leave of Absence, New Jersey Family Leave, Family Leave Insurance Benefits, and as well new federal emergency laws such as Families First Coronavirus Response (FFCRA or Act). Process workers compensation claims and leaves and absences as well as insurance carriers regarding workers compensation claims. Maintain records and provide assistance to employees to ensure effective use of benefits. Must possess the ability to work independently, be self-motivated, and team oriented, with the ability to interact with all levels of employees and management. Must also possess excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, have strong organizational, follow-up, and problem solving. Must be able to maintain confidential information and work closely with HR and Payroll Team members and conduct oneself in a professional manner. Requirements: BA or BS in Human Resources or related HR or Insurance field with minimum 3 years’ experience and/or certifications.
