Jewish Family Service Plans 22nd Annual House Tour
August 03, 2009
Planning a special event takes a great deal of creativity, organization and know-how. Not a single detail can afford to be overlooked. This is not a problem for JFS’s two House Tour Committee chairs, Bev Rubin and Beth Shor. As usual, this energetic duo and their committee have everything under control.
The 22nd Annual House Tour will feature beautiful homes that you can tour at your leisure on August 3, from 11 to 4 PM. Proceeds from the event will go to Older Adult Services at JFS. The goal is to help our seniors remain in their homes, living safely and independently. JFS strives to ensure that no need is left unaddressed, including psychological and emotional issues, healthcare needs and spiritual support.
The 2009 Tour promises to follow tradition and showcase homes to delight the most discriminating. A new addition this year with be a raffle featuring three prizes that will please just about anyone. Highlighting the new raffle will be a diamond necklace donated by Serago Roberts; 2 Philadelphia 76ERS tickets, first row behind the team, including a parking pass donated by committee person Stacey Gelman and her husband Jon; and a 26” flat screen TV, donated by Harrah’s Entertainment. Tickets are $10 each chance and the winner will be drawn at 4:30 at Jewish Family Service on the day of the House Tour.
Mark your calendar for August 3 and visit our webpage to order your tickets. Buy your tickets now at HOUSE TOUR TICKETS for $45.
