JFS RECEIVES $7,500 EXTREME WEATHER GRANT FROM CHURCH & DWIGHT

The Church & Dwight Incorporated’s Employee Giving Fund has once again awarded Jewish Family Service a $7,500 grant which supports the Extreme Weather Outreach Project. The project provides clothing, brief motel stays and other forms of aid to assist individuals living outdoors at times when the weather conditions are particularly dangerous.
"As we have started to feel the change in the weather, the Extreme Weather Outreach Project is a critical service for Atlantic City and the surrounding region,” said JFS Executive Director Andrea Steinberg. “Thanks to the generosity of Church & Dwight and its employees, JFS is once again able to "bring in" individuals from the inclement weather and provide essential basic need supplies.”
Jewish Family Service serves more than 3,000 local individuals per year through a variety of services. Responding to the needs of the community, JFS offers counseling, case management, and an array of other services including family and children’s programs, older adult assistance, autism support, Kosher Meals-on-Wheels, a community food pantry and diabetes advocacy.
