JFS made a difference in the lives of more than 3,500 individuals and families in 2011; however, the number in need of support continues to increase. Our services are more critical than ever. Your Donation Will Help Meet The Needs of Children, Families and Elderly
There are more than 1,100 homeless families in Atlantic County.
A gift of $1,000 will provide shelter for a homeless family during the frigid winter months.
In New Jersey, one in every 94 children is diagnosed with an Autism Disorder.
A gift of $500 will supply essential support and education workshops for families with Autistic children.
Atlantic County has one of the largest Veteran populations in the state.
A gift of $250 will provide a Veteran counseling following their return from war.
There are more than 11,500 seniors living on Absecon Island alone.
A gift of $100 will offset transportation costs for homebound seniors to medical appointments.
There is a 45% increase in need for emergency food in New Jersey.
A gift of $50 will provide meals durings the holidays for two families in our community.
