Jewish Family Service Launches 2010 Friends Giving Campaign

As Jewish families gather around their dining room tables to recite the story of Passover, the staff at JFS turns their thoughts to those struggling with burdens and oppression today. Just as the Israelites made their journey from Egypt to Eretz Yisrael, many in our community have come to Jewish Family Service to seek assistance.

As Spring 2010 approaches, Jewish Family Service asks the community to help make a difference in the lives of more than 3,000 residents of Atlantic & Cape May Counties. By making a donation to the agency’s annual “Friends Campaign,” you will be helping to meet the needs of children, families and the elderly. Supporters can be assured that a gift - in any amount - will be used to help the members of our community who depend on JFS.

  • A gift of $1,000 will keep a family together in their home.
  • A gift of $500 will provide family counseling during a crisis.
  • A gift of $100 will provide hospice services to a family in our community.
  • A gift of $36 will supply kosher meals for a homebound senior for one week.

  • In 2009, JFS raised $35,110 through the generous donations from our “Friends” and we hope to surpass that amount for the 2010 campaign.

For more information about the “Friends Campaign” or to make a donation, please contact Jewish Family Service at 609-822-1108. Secure processing of your “Friends” donation is available online HERE. All donations are tax-deductible.
