Exceptional Employer Award - June 19, 2009

Jewish Family Service of Atlantic & Cape May Counties is pleased to announce that on June 19, 2009 our agency was awarded the “2009 Exceptional Employer” by the Employers Association of New Jersey (EANJ).
EANJ is a trade association comprised of over 1,000 companies. Its Board of Directors is made up of executives from companies including Johnson & Johnson, Seiko, Triangle Corporation, Valley National Bank and Wyeth. The organization was established over ninety years ago and it is dedicated to promoting exceptional workplaces through education, informed discussions and training.
Each year EANJ invites employers to submit nominations for Exceptional Employer Award consideration. This award is given for best practices in the workplace. Lisa Witkowski, SPHR, Director of Human Resources at JFS, submitted the agency’s name for consideration for this award based on developing teamwork, response to current events and economic climate, health & safety and resolving employee disputes.
We are pleased that JFS was presented with this award, the most prestigious employer award in New Jersey.
