Dr. Naomi Jones Named AC Weekly Top 40 Under 40 Honoree

Jewish Family Service extends a special congratulations to Director of Clinical & Intake Services, Dr. Naomi Jones for being selected as one of the Atlantic City Weekly Top 40 Under 40 nominees. She is a licensed clinical psychologist who has specialized in working with children and adolescents for the past 14 years. In her current role, Dr. Jones is dedicated to expanding counseling services to individuals of all ages and families. Last year, she co-founded The Specialty Center for Youth Interventions which provides outpatient counseling for those affected by emotional trauma or who have displayed disruptive behaviors.  With the addition of this program, Dr. Jones has expanded children's services to include three full-time therapists and a part-time psychiatrist. Naomi supervises approximately fifty JFS staff members including case managers relating to intake, outpatient therapists and psychiatrists.

An alumna of George Mason University (Ph.D.), The American University (MA) and West Chester University (BA), Naomi serves as a volunteer for Gilda’s Club South Jersey and as a co-facilitator for “An Ethical Start” Parenting Class hosted by the JCC.

Dr. Jones joins the respected Jewish Family Service employees who have been honored in previous years including Lisa Witkowski, Leigh Turner, Laura Rodgers and Beth Joseph.
