CapeBank Charitable Foundation Awards JFS $30,000

The CapeBank Charitable Foundation is proud to announce that Jewish Family Service of Atlantic & Cape May Counties has been chosen as one of their six charity partners to receive funding. The Foundation partnership includes a multi-year commitment of resources and $30,000 financial contribution for 2010.
“The CapeBank Charitable Foundation allows the entire community to share in the growth of Cape Bank and enhance the strong partnership the Bank has already created in the community;” said Robert J. Boyer, Cape Bank Charitable Foundation Vice President and COO, Cape Bank.“The Foundation is proud to support the mission of Jewish Family Service.”
Jewish Family Service serves 3,000 local individuals per year through a variety of services. Responding to the needs of the community, JFS offers counseling, case management, and an array of other services including family and children’s programs, older adult assistance, autism support, Kosher Meals-on-Wheels, a community food pantry and diabetes advocacy.
“The CapeBank’s generous funding comes at such a critical time for our agency,” said Andrea Steinberg, JFS Executive Director “There are so many individuals and families in our community who are struggling and in need of support. The financial contribution allows JFS to further help those in need.”
