23rd Annual JFS House Tour to Benefit Older Adult Services at JFS

Jewish Family Service will host the 23rd Annual House Tour on Monday, August 2, 2010 featuring an exclusive tour of six of Absecon Island’s most luxurious homes.  From 11 am until 4 pm guests will have the unique opportunity to tour these distinctive seashore homes throughout Ventnor, Margate and Longport.

Whether taking in the views of a bay front dream home or examining exclusive sports memorabilia from college and pros, this year’s tour homes offer appeal for every taste. The House Tour also features a first-hand look into a renovated Margate house that was recently doubled in size and features ‘green’ and recycled materials.

“We are continually adding new elements to make the event more exciting,” explained co-chairs Beverly Rubin and Beth Shor. “This year the homes are absolutely amazing, plus we have added a fisherman auction as well as increased the value of our raffle prizes.”

For 2010, JFS will feature three raffle drawings. First place is a beautiful diamond necklace from Serago Roberts valued at more than $3,000. Second place is courtside 76ers tickets with parking pass ($700 value) and third a 22” Colby flat screen television ($250 value). Winners do not need to be present at the House Tour to win.  Raffle entries are $10 each and can be purchased at the JFS office (607 N. Jerome Ave) or be ordered online.

“The JFS House Tour is our largest fundraiser of the year,” stated JFS Executive Director Andrea Steinberg. “It brings together the entire community for an incredible cause – our agency’s Older Adult Services.”

Presented by Anna and Marc Feldman, the tour features an inside view of some of the most spectacular homes on the beach and the bay. The 23rd Annual JFS House Tour begins at 11:00 a.m. Early registration tickets are available for $35 per person through July 15 and $45 per person thereafter. Tickets are available. Secure processing is available online at TICKETS. For more information about the event or to make a donation, please contact Jewish Family Service at 609-822-1108. All donations are tax-deductible.
