Dr. Richard B. Wise, owner of Wise Family Eye Center located in Galloway, has made a multi-year commitment to Jewish Family Service. A proud supporter of JFS and an annual sponsor of the Cocktail Party and Golf Tournament, Wise decided to take his giving one step further and increase his support to reach the Leader Donor level, pledging $10,000 to the agency over two years.

“Having been a supporter of JFS for many years, I have seen the agency’s exponential growth and the great impact their programs and services have on the community,” said Wise. “It is important to me to give back to JFS in an ongoing way and I look forward to our continued partnership for many years to come.”

In addition to this financial support, Richard has been a member of the Board of Directors since 2005 and is currently serving a two year term as JFS President. He is also a member of the Cocktail Party committee and volunteers with his family. Leading the agency Board of Directors, Richard and Wise Family Eye Center sets a great example for not only JFS staff and the Board but the community as a whole.

“By becoming a Leader Donor, Wise Family Eye Center is not only making a commitment to the agency but the community as a whole in our effort to help those in need,” said Andrea Steinberg, JFS CEO. “Richard’s dedication to our agency is unparalleled and we are proud to partner with such a well-respected business and leader in our community.”

Wise Family Eye Center encourages a friendly environment where the entire family can get comprehensive eye care with the highest quality. Patients are their most important asset and the practice places great importance on treating patients with courtesy, fairness and respect. Wise Family Eye Center supports many organizations including The Schultz-Hill Foundation, Linwood Education Foundation and the Boys and Girls Club of Atlantic City.

With the support of many generous donors, like Wise Family Eye Center, Jewish Family Service serves more than 8,500 local individuals per year through a variety of services.  Responding to the needs of the community, JFS offers counseling, case management, and an array of other services including family and children’s programs, older adult assistance, autism support, Kosher Meals-on-Wheels, a community food pantry and diabetes advocacy.
