MLR Bike Ride to Benefit JFS, Community Invited to Participate

Posted on August 11, 2016

If you enjoy long-distance bike riding, consider joining dozens of local community members as they once again gear up to participate in the MLR Friends and Family Bike Ride with proceeds benefiting Jewish Family Service (JFS).

The 9th Annual Marc L. Rosenberg (MLR) Friends & Family Bike Ride will be held Saturday, September 10, 2016 (rain date Sunday, September 11th).  Beginning in Margate at 8:30 am, this 25-mile ride remembers Marc Rosenberg, a life-long resident of Margate and a business and community leader.

This is a roundtrip ride from Margate to Corson’s Inlet in Ocean City. Riders are asked to donate a minimum of $36 to JFS to participate. There will be a refreshment station in Corson’s Inlet at the Ocean Drive park area.

All proceeds from this ride help support the Marc L. Rosenberg Memorial Fund at JFS. Created in 2011, the Fund provides financial support where the agency has most need.  This includes programs such as older adult services which provides senior transportation, food pantry, Kosher meals-on-wheels and nursing services.
