Allstate Foundation Awards JFS $1,000 Helping Hands in the Community Grant

Jewish Family Service (JFS) has received a $1,000 Helping Hands in the Community grant from the Allstate Foundation. This grant was awarded in honor of local agent David Lieberman and his wife Ali’s service and dedication to supporting the agency and community as a whole. The grant will support JFS services that would otherwise go unfunded such as children's counseling and Village by the Shore, a JFS program that provides a variety of professional services and socialization to adults and older adults in our community.
David Lieberman Financial Services/Allstate, located in Somers Point and Egg Harbor Township, is a JFS Builder Donor. A proud supporter of JFS and an annual sponsor of the Cocktail Party and House Tour, owner David Lieberman is always finding ways to give back to the agency. In addition to Lieberman’s financial contributions, David, Ali and their children volunteer for JFS throughout the year. From food pantry, to wrapping holiday gifts and volunteering at events, it is community members, like the Lieberman’s, that allow JFS to help thousands of individuals and families each year.
“David and Ali’s commitment to JFS is truly remarkable and we are thankful to the Allstate Foundation for recognizing the Lieberman’s dedication to our agency and the community members we serve,” said Andrea Steinberg, JFS CEO.
