Galloway Auto & Tire of Somers Point, a one-stop shop for auto repair and car maintenance has made a multi-year commitment to Jewish Family Service as a Builder Donor. As an annual sponsor of the Golf Tournament and contributor to the Friends campaign, managers Jeff Meyer and Jason Conway decided to expand Galloway Auto’s giving this year.

“Recognizing the great work JFS does in our community, we wanted to give back in an ongoing way,” said Meyer. “By becoming a Builder Donor, Galloway Auto is not only making a commitment to the agency but the community as a whole in our effort to help those in need.”

Family owned and operated for 26 years, Galloway Auto combines modern technology with old fashioned service. As a full-service repair shop, they provide service and major repairs on all makes and models. In addition to supporting JFS, Galloway Auto also supports local little leagues, Mainland Regional High School, Somers Point Police Department and the Cub Scout pack of Egg Harbor Township. Galloway Auto also offers free break inspections at the Somers Point Sherriff’s Department and Fire Department during their annual safety week.

“It is wonderful to see local businesses, like Galloway Auto & Tire, wanting to expand their giving capacities and become an agency donor,” said Andrea Steinberg, CEO of Jewish Family Service. “We greatly appreciate their commitment to helping the thousands of clients we serve each year.”

With the support of many generous donors, like Galloway Auto & Tire, Jewish Family Service serves more than 7,500 local individuals per year through a variety of services. Responding to the needs of the community, JFS offers counseling, case management, and an array of other services including family and children’s programs, older adult assistance, autism support, Kosher Meals-on-Wheels, a community food pantry and diabetes advocacy.
