Approximately 50 attendees gathered for an upscale wine tasting to benefit Jewish Family Service. Presented by Bootleggers Liquor Outlet and Allied Beverage, Uncork the Shore held on October 28th at Johnny’s Café and Martini Bar raised approximately $2,500 to benefit JFS.

“In partnership with Allied Beverage, we wanted to bring the community a fun night with great food and wines to benefit an organization that does so much in the community,” said Howard Solomon, owner of Bootleggers Liquor Outlet. “It was great to see so many people attend this event so we could raise much needed funds for community services.”

Featuring fifty specialty wines including signature blends from Italy and California, as well as champagnes, Uncork the Shore was a great event enjoyed by all. Johnny’s Cafe presented a wonderful buffet including fresh bruschetta, clams casino, filet mignon and chicken parmesan, just to name a few.

“Thank you to Bootleggers and Allied Beverage for coming up with a great idea and offering the community this event to support JFS,” said Andrea Steinberg, CEO of Jewish Family Service. “It was wonderful to see so many new faces as well as JFS supporters.”
