Jewish Family Service of Atlantic and Cape May Counties (JFS) and the Milton & Betty Katz Jewish Community Center (JCC) are excited to announce a joint golf tournament to be held on Thursday, May 29, 2014 at Linwood Country Club. The JFS vs. JCC Golf Tournament will bring a bit of friendly, fun competition to the community, with the winning organization claiming the sought after trophy and bragging rights.
The tournament committee, led by Team JFS Captains Rob and Susan Lang and Team JCC Captains Eric and Fran Goldstein, is currently in the process of planning what is sure to be a wonderful event.
“There are many golf tournaments throughout the year so this is an outstanding opportunity for these two agencies to join together as one for a great day of golf benefiting both worthy organizations,” said Susan Lang.
Registration and lunch will begin at 11:30 am with a shotgun start at 1 pm. Following golf, cocktails and dinner will be served. On-course activities, contests, and prizes will add to this exciting day. The individual play rate is $225 or $1,000 for a foursome which includes a hole sponsorship. Additional sponsorship opportunities are available.
“The competition aspect of the tournament adds another level of excitement to the event,” said Eric Goldstein. “With the addition of skills and luck contests, golfers will not only have a great time but also have the opportunity to win some amazing prizes.”
The funds raised will help JFS and the Katz JCC further their mission to provide programs and services that enhance and enrich the lives of individuals and families in Atlantic County.
