Be a Friend this Holiday Season, Support JFS Annual Campaign
Posted on December 17, 2014
As 2014 comes to a close, Jewish Family Service of Atlantic and Cape May Counties reflects on the many accomplishments the agency has had over the past year.
- Atlantic Homeless Alliance secured permanent housing for more than 300 people since its February launch.
- Village by the Shore welcomed nearly a dozen new members, offering expanded services for adults 50+.
- JFS therapists provided more than 6,000 hours of specialized counseling for children and their family.
- The Food Pantry served 23,000 pounds of essential food for residents living throughout Atlantic County.
From hosting food drives to volunteering to supporting events and fundraising campaigns, thousands of community members including businesses, schools and organizations helped JFS to achieve these many accomplishments. This year, JFS supporters helped strengthen the lives of 6,500 community members in need. With many locals struggling to meet basic needs, the agency’s goal is to help strengthen even more families in 2015.
