Allstate-David Lieberman Gives Back Donates $1,800 to JFS

It is always exciting when community members and local businesses think outside of the box to support local organizations. David Lieberman, operator of Allstate in Somers Point, did just that by donating $1,800 to Jewish Family Service of Atlantic and Cape May Counties (JFS).

Allstate was a sponsor of the 27th Annual JFS House Tour, held in August, but Lieberman wanted to take it one step further to help the cause. During the House Tour, attendees were able to sign up to receive quotes from the insurance agency. For the past two months, Lieberman has been providing estimates while donating $18 per quote back to Jewish Family Service.

“The House Tour offered a great opportunity to reach many people and I was excited to see so many guests interested in helping us to give back,” said Lieberman. “The fundraiser inspired me to give back and this larger contribution ultimately enables JFS to help more people. I am humbled to do my small part to help this great community.”

From food drives, to hat collections to bike rides and other community initiatives, local individuals and businesses are consistently coming up with more unique ways to give back to those in need.

“We are very thankful to David’s Allstate office for not only supporting the House Tour as a sponsor, but also for going the extra mile and coming up with a great way to give back to the agency,” said Andrea Steinberg, Chief Executive Officer of Jewish Family Service. “With local needs constantly increasing, it is more important than ever for community members and businesses to think up new and different ways to help those in need.”

JFS encourages individuals and businesses to come up with their own unique ways to give back. If you have an idea of a way you support Jewish Family Service, please contact For more information on JFS programs and events, please visit
