Nearly 1,000 guests toured seven of the most luxurious Downbeach homes on Monday August 5, 2013 during the JFS House Tour.  The 26th Annual Tour raised more than $53,000 for Older Adult Services.

From European charm in Margate to a completely restored 1920’s property in Ventnor, each home offered a different appeal to spark attendee interest. Trade sponsors from Surroundings Furniture Scout Clothing & Décor, CVL Designs and Colmar offered guests creative insight, design concepts, and original kitchen ideas.Outside homes offered sweeping verandas, over-sized decks with beach views and an in-ground swimming pool.

This year, JFS had more than 95 volunteers dedicate their day to help make the event a success. Organized by co-chairs Beth Shor and Susan Lutz, the 2013 House Tour was the most successful to date, with generous sponsors and advertisers such as Revel Casino Hotel, QMA Design + Build, Brandywine Assisted Living at Brandall Estates and many more. As a new addition, House Sponsor Luke Palladino Hospitality Group served signature cuisine samples to tour attendees.

Six lucky winners took home fabulous raffle prizes including a diamond and yellow gold heart necklace from Serago Roberts Jewelers, an overnight stay with amenities at Revel Casino Hotel, 100-trip Margate Bridge card, Chef’s tasting for 6 guests at a Luke Palladino Restaurant and courtside 76ers tickets.

The House Tour committee is already searching for homes to place on next year’s tour, scheduled for August 4, 2014. If you would like to find out more information about JFS or ways to get involved, call 609-822-1108.
