JFS 25th Annual House Tour Raises $50,000 for Older Adult Services

Approximately 1,000 guests toured six of the most lavish Downbeach homes on Monday August 6, 2012 during the JFS House Tour.  The 25th Annual Tour raised more than $50,000 for Older Adult Services.

From Manhattan’s modern edge to a Cape Cod waterfront estate, each home had a different appeal for every attendee interest. The homes had exquisite outdoor areas such as flowering gardens, wraparound decks and waterfront patio. Interiors designers Joe Berkowitz, Connie Lepre of CVL Designs and Danielle McDonald from Colmar offered guests creative insight, design concepts, and kitchen ideas.

This year, JFS had more than 90 volunteers dedicate their day to the help make the event a success. Organized by co-chairs Beth Shor and Susan Lutz, the 2012 House Tour was the most successful to date, with generous sponsors and advertisers such as Revel, QMA Design + Build, Tropicana, Brandywine Assisted Living, and Kelly’s Landscaping, Ocean City Home Bank and more.

Six lucky winners took home fabulous raffle prizes including a diamond and sapphire cocktail ring from Serago Roberts Jewelers, gift certificates from Bon Ton and Surroundings, 100-trip Margate Bridge card, Chef’s Table at Sofia Restaurant, and courtside 76ers tickets.
