The Heritage Society was formed as the planned giving portion of JFS to recognize friends who have made bequests to the agency in their wills or estate plans. Through a planned gift to JFS, you can create a lasting legacy of loving kindness and help ensure that—from generation to generation—there will always be sustenance and support. Bequests allow individuals to make much larger gifts than they could during their lifetime. This is particularly appealing to donors who want their gift to “amount to something,” but haven’t had the means to make a substantial donation previously.
A bequest may be earmarked for homecare for frail seniors, emergency services for families in crisis, or simply for use where most needed.
