Annual Friends Campaign

As Jewish families gather around their dining room tables to recite the story of Passover, our thoughts turn to those struggling with burdens and oppression today. Just as the Israelites made their journey from Egypt to Eretz Yisrael, many in our community have come to Jewish Family Service to seek assistance.

The down economy, increased unemployment, and the bitterly cold weather have been challenges for thousands of people. As Spring 2010 approaches, Jewish Family Service turns to you to help make a difference in the lives of more than 3,000 residents of Atlantic & Cape May Counties. By making a donation to our annual “Friends Campaign,” you will be helping us to meet the needs of children, families and the elderly.

  • A gift of $1,000 will keep a family together in their home.
  • A gift of $500 will provide family counseling during a crisis.
  • A gift of $250 will provide an initial assessment for a child to assure early detection of autism spectrum and related disorders.
  • A gift of $100 will provide hospice services to a family in our community.
  • A gift of $50 will offset the cost of a stress relief support group.
  • A gift of $36 will supply kosher meals for a homebound senior for one week.


    • You can be assured that your gift - in any amount - will be used to help the members of our community who depend on JFS.

    Because of the generosity and commitment of our Friends, we raised $35,110 in 2009. This year we need your help to continue providing an increased level of care for the community.
