Ways to Give

Food Pantry

The JFS Food Pantry serves nearly 500 families living on Absecon Island.  JFS is always in need of nonperishable food items to stock our on-site pantry with nourishing goods such as peanut butter, tuna fish, canned vegetables and fruits, pasta, cereal and hearty soup.

Jewish Family Service accepts non-perishable and canned food donations throughout the year. All donations should be unopened and properly sealed. Lower sugar and lower salt items are needed due to the growing senior client population and clients with special dietary needs.Volunteers are always needed to stock and organize our food pantry. Donations make a difference in the lives of our recipients, which include elderly individuals and couples, single-parent families, people who are ill, and those who have been impacted by recent unemployment or major medical problems. To make a donation to the JFS Food Pantry or organize a food drive visit the JFS Community Exchage website.
