Qualifications

  • Education - Master’s Degree in Social Work or related field with New Jersey licensure (LCSW, LPC, PhD).
  • Experience - Minimum 5 years of leadership and supervisory experience. 

 

Skills and Responsibilities

 

The Associate Director of Atlantic Homeless Alliance & Justice Involved Services is a highly visible position, encountering the various components of the legal system and homeless community in Atlantic County which included but not limited to the board of social services, local police departments, the Court system and the Atlantic County Justice Facility. Understanding of the welfare system, legal process and the ability to effectively communicate to deliver the highest quality of services for consumers is critical. The dynamics of this position require the ability to work in fast paced environment and include the need for flexibility, excellent communication skills and attention to details. Working with the Director, this position requires ability to analyze outcomes and program development to meet the needs of the community.  Master’s Degree in Social Work or related field with New Jersey licensure (LCSW, LPC, PhD) and minimum of 5 years of experience required. 

 

Position reports to the Director, Atlantic Homeless Alliance & Justice Involved Services and has administrative oversight of re-entry program located at the Atlantic County Justice Facility, provides supervision to re-entry program Supervisor; Responsible for all aspects of Atlantic Homeless Alliance & Housing First 2, direct supervision of two AHA case managers and one HF2 case manager.
